In 1990, Equipment North developed the original Halman Encreter, a compact, mobile shotcrete applicator for use in underground mines.

Since that time, we have continued to develop innovative solutions not only for shotcreting, but for maximising the versatility of compact equipment in underground mining applications. These products are now distributed under the Encreter brand–a name associated with innovation and quality.

Based in a 20,000 square foot facility on the Sudbury Basin, Encreter is a short drive from upwards of 20 operating underground mines as well as the region’s host of smelters, refineries and ore mills.

From conception through production and aftermarket service, our technical team work in conjunction with industry experts to ensure that our products exceed the demands and expectations of the people who use them.

All of Encreter’s products are developed and tested in operating hardrock mines.
